Cayuga County has launched a new tool to help you view overdose data within the county and find support such as recovery and addiction services.
The Overdose Data Dashboard lets you view overdose numbers, monthly trends, demographics, geographic locations, and local resources throughout the county.
Healing Cayuga Project Director Monika Salvage hopes the dashboard will become an important tool in bringing conversations about overdoses and addiction into the open as a way to end the stigma around seeking help. She said “having data available for the public to see in any given month or any time frame that they’re interested in, to see what is happening in their community, I think is really important for understanding that this happening here.”
The dashboard can be found on the county’s website.
