The call is open for projects to receive potential funding from three Cayuga County villages’ joint $10 million DRI Award.
The Cayuga, Union Springs, and Aurora Local Planning Committee is seeking project proposals for its strategic investment plan. Once complete, the plan will be reviewed by New York State to possibly receive funding.
The committee asks proposals to be sent in as soon as possible. All proposals must be received by noon on June 28.

A virtual information session will be held from 3:00-4:00p on Thursday. To attend the meeting, click here. The meeting will also be recorded for those who cannot attend.
Potential project sponsors can also attend in-person or virtual office hours where they can meet with members of the DRI consultant team one-on-one to discuss project ideas and receive help completing their project proposals. Office Hours will be held on the following dates:
- June 6 from 2:00-4:00p. In person at Cayuga Village Hall
- June 10 from 1:00-3:00p. In person at Aurora Village Hall
- June 18 from 9:30-11:30a. Virtual
- June 26 12:00-2:00p. Virtual

The first public meeting for the DRI will be held from 6:00-8:00p on June 6 at the Union Springs Fire Hall.
