A Brooklyn man faces 20 years to life in prison after pleading guilty Wednesday to a summer murder in Auburn.
35-year-old Davon Dixon pleaded guilty on Wednesday before Cayuga County Judge Thomas Leone to killing 43-year-old Ronell Agee of Rochester on July 26 by shooting him multiple times. Dixon also admitted to unlawfully possessing the firearm used in the crime.
He faces 20 years to life for second-degree murder and an additional 15 years with five years post-release supervision for second-degree criminal possession of a weapon. The weapon charge will run concurrently with the murder sentence.
Dixon has been held in the Cayuga County Jail without bail since his arrest in July and is scheduled to be sentenced on January 15.
