Auburn’s Youth Summer Recreation program returns for 2025.
Running now through August 9, the program takes place at three parks throughout the city to provide children with a variety of summer activities – Lincoln Park on Tuesdays, Clifford Park on Wednesdays, and Casey Park on Thursdays.
Each day features activities such as arts & crafts, field & court games, gaga ball, and playground time. Special activities will take place on various days and include swim lessons, a culinary program, a wildlife presentation, laser tag, and a pro skateboard show. For more information on the program and upcoming activities, visit the city’s website.
Children must be signed in to participate in the daily activities. Supervision lasts from 1:00-4:00p so children need to be picked up by 4:00p. Parents and guardians are also asked to send their children with a labeled water bottle.
The city has touted the success of its summer rec program in the past, with City Clerk Chuck Mason saying in 2024 that program attendance doubled compared to 2023.
