Auburn City Court will continue to operate from its longtime location on the first floor of the Historic Old Post Office Building on Genesee Street. The city has reached a new agreement with Cayuga County, which owns the building, to extend the court’s stay through the end of 2026. City Clerk Chuck Mason noted that one key change in the updated lease is the removal of language related to capital improvements.

City Court has been held in the Old Post Office since the consolidation of the State Court system in the late 1970s
