The Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office is asking residents for feedback as it works to evaluate and improve its services.
Sheriff Brian Schenck announced the release of the agency’s 2026 Community Survey on Monday and encouraged residents to complete a short questionnaire focused on service delivery and community needs.
Officials say the survey is part of an ongoing effort to strengthen partnerships between law enforcement and the community.
“Partnering with our community is key to successfully fulfilling our mission,” Schenck said in a statement. “Our success in providing the best public safety services possible is dependent on your trust, respect, partnership, and input.”
Schenck added that the feedback will also play a role as he prepares to transition leadership of the sheriff’s office in 2027.
The survey is available online here.
