If you have a green thumb, downtown Auburn can use your help.
The Auburn Downtown Partnership (formerly the BID) is seeking volunteers for its annual Flower Power tree planting event on Saturday. The annual event sees volunteers plant flowers throughout the city’s downtown to usher in warm weather and beautify the space to attract visitors.
Volunteers are asked to meet at Exchange Street by Auburn Public Theater at 9:00a and bring gardeners’ gloves. Organizers add that the event is expected to last one to two hours.
