The Brooklyn man convicted in a 2025 Auburn fatal shooting case has learned how long he’ll spend behind bars.
Cayuga County District Attorney Brittany Grome Antonacci announced that 35-year-old Davon Dixon, who previously pled guilty to one count each of felony Murder and Criminal Possession of a Weapon, was sentenced Tuesday to an indeterminate sentence of 20 years to life for the murder conviction and 15 years determinate plus five years post-release supervision for the weapon conviction. The sentences will run concurrently.
On July 26, 2025, Dixon shot and killed 43-year-old Ronell Agee of Rochester at a community block party in the area of Oak Creek Town Homes. He was arrested at the scene.
