A Southern Tier man will spend the next three months in prison after admitting to leaving a threatening voicemail at the Washington D.C. office of Georgia Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene.
In one voicemail left in March of 2022, Joseph Morelli of Endicott, said, “I’m going to have to take your life into my own hands…I’m going to hurt you. Physically, I’m going to harm you.” In the second voice mail, Morelli said “I can pay someone 500 bucks to take a baseball bat and crack your skull.
The 51-year-old will begin his sentence on October 2nd
