A Syracuse woman is facing charges in connection with last week’s pursuit and car crash in Onondaga County.

According to the sheriff’s office, Kenyada Rowser turned herself into deputies Monday. She was charged with Felony Grand Larceny, Unauthorized use of a Motor Vehicle, Conspiracy, and Fleeing an Officer in a Motor Vehicle and is currently being held at the justice center.

The 31-year-old is alleged to have been the driver of a stolen SUV that fled the Clay Kohl’s last week after its occupants stole carts of unpaid merchandise.

When the vehicle was spotted by deputies later that day, a chase ensued resulting in a crash on I-81.

The other five suspects, including two juveniles, were apprehended at the scene.
