The DMV has unveiled its new design for Central New York’s regional vanity plate.
The plate features Syracuse’s historic Landmark Theatre. Now listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the theatre was the city’s largest theatre in the city when it was built in 1928.
Earlier this month, the DMV announced it would create new vanity plates for the state’s regions. We have photos of the new designs online at FLDN.com
“Every region of our state has something unique and interesting about it, and we are happy to celebrate that uniqueness by making these new license plates available for New York drivers,” said Commissioner and Chair of the Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee Mark J.F. Schroeder. “These also allow drivers to put their own unique touch on their vehicles and show pride for the place they live.”
