Police: Mom Drove Her Car to Cayuga County Park So Children Could Fight

SHARE NOW

Police arrested a Cayuga County mother after she allegedly drove her children to a park so they could physically fight with other children.

At around 9 on the evening of May 25th, members of the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a complaint involving multiple kids physically fighting throughout the day. An investigation determined that 38-year-old Amanda Street had intentionally driven her children to a park in Montezuma so they could fight.

Streeter was arrested on Saturday on a charge of endangering the welfare of a child. She will return to court on June 18th in Montezuma Town Court.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
