Auburn Bar and Grill Employee Accused of Repeated Thefts

Auburn Police say an employee at Kosta’s Bar and Grill was accused in early September of repeatedly stealing from the business.

Investigators allege that cleaner Karlston Thomas removed money from the register on about six occasions, totaling roughly $1,500. A warrant was issued for Thomas’ arrest. On Monday, State Parole officers detained him during a routine check-in. Auburn Police then took him into custody.

Thomas is charged with felony grand larceny.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation; the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
