Middlesex - Linda Jean Elliott, age 70, passed away at home on Saturday, July 4, 2026.

Linda was born on February 6, 1956, a daughter of the late Olin A. and Mildred L. (Ackerson) McCallum. Many will remember her for working at Martin’s Gas Station in Rushville or from the many years she spent providing child care. Linda loved gardening and drawing. She was most happy in the outdoors and riding her 4-wheeler. Linda’s greatest love was for her family. She will always be remembered and admired for her strength and tenacity.

Linda is survived by her children, Erin (Joe Smith) Hacker, Emma (Bill) Merrill, and Thomas (Alexandra Granger) Elliott; eight grandchildren, Jayda, Amara, Norah, Delylah, Olivia, Braiden, Bryan, and Aiden; one great-grandson, Oliver; a brother, James McCallum, as well as nieces and nephews.

Linda was predeceased by her parents and her husband, Thomas Elliott.
