Another World Series is coming to Auburn.
Cayuga Community College and Falcon Park have been selected to host the NJCAA Division III Baseball World Series in 2027.
“Cayuga Community College is excited for the NJCAA Division III Baseball World Series to return to Falcon Park in Auburn for 2025 and 2027,” said Dr. Brian Durant, Cayuga Community College President. “Falcon Park is one of the best facilities in junior college baseball, and it was a tremendous experience for all when the Park hosted the 2024 World Series. We appreciate the opportunity to host a premier NJCAA championship, and our College and the City of Auburn are looking forward to welcoming the teams and the NJCAA to our community.”
The park hosted the 2024 Division III World Series which saw teams from colleges in Illinois, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New York, Texas, and Virginia compete for the championship with RCSJ-Gloucester winning their second straight title.
Falcon Park will also host the 2025 Division III World Series. Eight teams from across the country will travel to Auburn next year to compete in a series of games scheduled for May 24-28/29.
The 2027 Division III World Series will take place from May 29-June 2/3.
“The committee is excited with our sites for the upcoming years. We look forward to continuing to work with Cayuga Community College and the folks in Auburn, NY to build a high-caliber championship experience at Falcon Park,” stated Dan Blair, DIII Baseball Committee Chair.
In 2018, CCC and the city partnered to renovate the facility into a multisport turf field capable of hosting 2,800 spectators. These renovations helped Falcon Park secure the title of best NJCAA Division III facility by The JBB in August, beating out over 80 other ballparks across the US.
Falcon Park is also the home of the Auburn Doubledays. Aside from baseball, the park is used for softball, soccer, lacrosse, concerts, and community events.
