The report of a barn fire in Cayuga County sent multiple agencies scrambling, Saturday night.
According to Cayuga/Seneca Firewire, Sempronius, New Hope, West Niles, Moravia Fire, Owasco RIT, and Fourtown Ambulance all went to Richardson Hill and Dresserville Roads in Moravia. It was then discovered that it wasn’t a barn on fire, but a snowmobile in the driveway that was ablaze.
The fire was then extinguished.
