Auburn residents will have a chance to make their voices heard with two public hearings Thursday.
The first is on the city’s proposed amendment to its nuisance ordinance that could put pot shops out of business. If adopted, any business that needs licensure, such as a pot shop or liquor store, but doesn’t have it, would be eligible to be declared a nuisance by the city’s Nuisance Abatement Committee.
The second will allow residents to weigh in on the city’s community development block grant annual action plan. City Clerk Chuck Mason explains:
The public hearings will take place at the regularly scheduled city council meeting at 5:00p at City Hall.
