151 Orchard Street, Auburn
Thursday is the day Auburn residents can make their voices heard about whether or not the city should apply for state funding to assist with redeveloping two vacant properties.
The city intends to apply to Empire State Development for funding through the Restore NY Communities Initiative to assist in revitalizing the old Alco/Bombardier property on Orchard Street and 120 Genesee Street, the former Chemung Canal Trust Company site.
Auburn is seeking 10-million and 2-million dollars respectively for each site.
The public hearings will be held at 5:00p at City Council’s regularly scheduled meeting at City Hall.
