Auburn will soon have a methadone clinic sharing space with a local recovery organization.
Oswego based Farnham Family Services will use the second floor of Nick’s Ride 4 Friends 13 Chapel Street Location as an outpatient opioid treatment program .

She adds that Cayuga County has been hit particularly hard by opioid abuse.
Methadone is a highly regulated drug used to treat those suffering from heroin and opioid addiction.
The clinic plans to open in March once receiving final approval by state and federal agencies and getting their operating certificates.
