Many schools across the state will use this month to start putting together a budget for residents to vote on in May.
In Auburn, Superintendent Jeff Pirozzolo says the most important variable for any district is the amount of aid it will receive from the state.
Pirozzolo says the district will schedule budget presentations at board meetings from now until May. Last year, voters approved a 90.2-million dollar spending plan.
