Auburn Police Department Joins “Neighbors” App

The Auburn Police Department has found a new way to connect with residents in the digital age.

APD has joined Ring’s door-cam video sharing app, Neighbors. By doing this, the department is now able to view publicly posted videos from city residents and chime in with updates and safety alerts.

Neighbors allows users to post videos and photos captured from their door-cams to the app in an effort to capture and share potential suspicious activity.

Police say you don’t need a Ring camera to utilize the app. More info is available on Ring’s website.
