City Council voted Thursday to adopt a comprehensive tree plan.
City Clerk Chuck Mason says, in the next few years, expect to see more trees planted.
Over the past few years, approximately 1,400 dead ash trees have been removed from public properties within the city due to the invasive emerald ash borer.
