There will soon be more body-worn cameras attached to law enforcement officers in Schuyler County.
The legislature this month approved a request from the Sheriff’s Office to upgrade its current supply of body-worn cameras as well as purchase additional cameras for corrections officers. The cameras are currently worn by road patrol deputies and in the jail.
Money to purchase the cameras will come from the District Attorney’s Seized Assets Reserve Account
