SHARE NOW

Two more people have been sentenced for their roles in the sexual exploitation of a child at a number of locations throughout Yates County and in the Southern Tier.

Micheleine Ridley, of Dundee, was sentenced to 20 years to life in prison after pleading guilty in August to a felony charge of Predatory Sexual Assault Against a Child. She will also have to register as a sex offender upon her release. Yates County District Attorney Todd Casella said Ridley not only sexually abused the child for years but was aware that Andrew Daugherty was sexually abusing the child for years and did nothing. Daughterty was sentenced to 40 years in prison back in June.

Also this week, Richard Tallarida was sentenced in Yates County Court to two years behind bars for criminal sexual act.

In total, 18 people were indicted for their roles in this case.
