A Yates County man will serve jail time and spend the next decade under supervision after being sentenced on a child pornography charge.
Franklin Clark, 39, was sentenced on Tuesday in Yates County Court by Judge Mackenzie Stutzman to 90 days in jail followed by 10 years of probation.
Clark previously pleaded guilty to one count of promoting an obscene sexual performance by a child, a Class D felony. As part of his sentence, he will also be required to register as a sex offender with New York State.
Clark was arrested on January 16, 2025, following an investigation that resulted in 29 criminal charges. Those charges included 13 counts of promoting an obscene sexual performance by a child.
