A Rochester woman accused of kidnapping two children in the city of Rochester led four different police agencies on a vehicle pursuit Saturday night in Wayne County.
Police say Yashira Cruz had the two young kids in the car when she refused to pull over for deputies who had their lights and sirens activated. She proceeded to lead police through Williamson on State Route 21 before the pursuit came to an end.
In Wayne County, Cruz is facing charges of unlawful fleeing, and two counts each of reckless endangerment, endangering the welfare of a child, and 11 traffic violations. T
The 40-year-old was turned over to Rochester Police after her arraignment.
