Rochester Police are investigating a stabbing that left a Wayne County man injured Wednesday evening on the city’s west side.
Officers were called around 6:30 p.m. to the Sunoco gas station at 1140 Lyell Avenue, where they found a 44-year-old man from Palmyra with multiple stab wounds, according to the Rochester Police Department.
The victim was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening. Police said the stabbing did not happen at the gas station, and the victim was unable or unwilling to say where in the city the attack occurred.
No suspects have been identified at this time.
