A Wayne County man is under arrest for allegedly forcing a woman to have sex with him at his home.
In addition to allegedly raping the woman, State Police say the victim claims 47-year-old Matthew Foro, of Savannah, later made threats to kill her if she told anyone. The victim was able to contact police, who responded to Foro’s home and placed him under arrest.
Foro was charged with rape and criminal use of a firearm, both felonies and misdemeanor menacing.
The victim was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
