Police arrested a Wayne County man for injuring multiple nurses and security guards in the emergency department of Clifton Springs Hospital.
22-year-old Dante Gile is accused of intentionally preventing nurses at the hospital from performing their essential services by physically fighting, screaming, and attempting to bite them. The alleged incident happened last Thursday and Gile was arrested on Saturday.
The Savannah man was eventually charged with assault and brought to Ontario County Jail to await CAP arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
