Waterloo residents will have chance this month to vote for a 2023-2024 revised school budget.
Superintendent Terri Bavis says they’ve made reductions to the original budget. Speaking on FLX Morning, she said “we did reduce the budget by $171,000 dollars. We went from a 1.75% tax levy to a 1.5% and the overall budget is about $49,992,000.”
Last month, the original budget was defeated by eight votes.
The new vote will be held June 20th.
