A Waterloo man was arrested just after midnight Friday after allegedly attempting to stab a person with a knife at a home in Seneca Falls.
According to the police investigation, Stephen Rapini threatened to kill the person before he attempted to stab them. The victim was able to defend himself and suffered minor injuries. Rapini was charged with attempted assault and criminal possession of a weapon, both felonies. An order of protection was requested on behalf of the victim.
The 61-year-old was taken to the Seneca County Jail to await arraignment.
