Two people were taken to the hospital Friday after being involved in an accident on State Route 96 in Farmington.

Raymond Sims, of Geneva, and Juleena Alicea, of Newark, were taken to Thompson Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries after a car leaving the parking lot of McDonald’s pulled out in front of them resulting in a collision.

The 17-year-old unidentified driver of the car was ticketed for failure to yield the right of way and Sims was ticketed for aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Farmington Fire Department and Victor/Farmington Ambulance.
