A Victor man is facing felony charges following an investigation into child exploitation by state police.
According to police, officers in Canandaigua received a tip on May 30 from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children reporting the possession of child abuse material. A search warrant was then executed on June 12 on County Route 41, with multiple electronic devices being seized for analysis; one device was found to contain child sexual abuse material, police said.
On Tuesday, June 17, 57-year-old Tracy Przepiora was arrested and charged with one count each of Promoting an Obscene Sexual Performance by a Child Less Than 17 Years of Age and Possessing a Sexual Performance by a Child, both felonies.
Przepiora was processed and taken to the Ontario County Jail for arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
