Three people are facing charges in Ontario County after it is alleged they had worked in concert with others to commit multiple crimes in a number of Ontario County towns this summer.
33-year-old Alyssa Rondon, of Geneva, 31-year-old Branden Rhodes, of Farmington, and 42-year-old David Fallon, who is currently serving a prison sentence at the Elmira Correctional Facility, were each charged in the town of Phelps for allegedly possessing a Husqvarna lawn mower valued at $3,500 on July 17th that had been stolen from a Newark business.
In the town of Geneva, the trio faces charges of criminal possession of stolen property after they were allegedly found in possession of a John Deere lawn mower stolen from a private residence in Border City on July 20th.
Fallon, Rhodes, and Rondon will appear in Canandaigua Town Court on charges of grand larceny for allegedly stealing a Bad Boy brand lawn mower and a utility trailer upon which it was stored from an apartment complex on July 21st. The aggregate value of the stolen property was $7,100. The lawn mower and trailer were recovered during the execution of a search warrant on September 10th at a car dealership in the city of Rochester.
On July 28th, Fallon and Rondon are accused of working in concert with a third unnamed individual to steal $500 worth of merchandise from the Geneva Walmart store. Both were charged with burglary as they had been previously banned from all Walmart locations.
Fallon, Rhodes, and Rhodes were each charged in the town of Geneva with grand larceny. They are accused of working in concert with a fourth unidentified individual and stealing a Husqvarna brand lawnmower and the utility trailer upon which it had been stored from a business in the town of Geneva on July 30th.
Fallon, Rhodes and Rondon were also charged with enterprise corruption for their alleged participation together in three or more felony offenses.
Rondon and Rhodes were both arraigned in CAP Court at the Ontario County Jail and released to pre-trial services and will appear in court at a later date to answer the charges. Fallon’s arraignment is pending court procedures facilitating his appearance before a local court as he is currently housed at the Elmira Correctional Facility.
Charges for the other people involved are pending.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
