Police have arrested a 19-year-old from Wayne County for allegedly breaking into his neighbor’s home and stealing a handgun.
In addition to the firearm, Owen Perry is accused of stealing multiple items from the Arcadia home in August including jewelry. Detectives from the sheriff’s office recovered some of the stolen property including the handgun.
Perry is facing charges of burglary, criminal possession of a firearm, and two counts of grand larceny.
Perry was released on appearance tickets following his CAP arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
