A portion of State Route 96 was closed for almost two hours Saturday morning after a FedEx van drove off the road into a tree.
Traffic was rerouted between County Road 6 and Hayes Road during the time. Due to the van’s proximity to the Canandaigua Outlet, the DEC responded to monitor any environmental impact.
The FedEx driver, Keith Loughney, of Shortsville, was not injured.
