A Sodus man has been arrested after driving his vehicle into a house.
According to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a residence on Route 14 near Route 104 in the town around 9:30a Monday for the report of a disturbance.
An investigation determined that, after a verbal altercation, 46-year-old Mathias Smith allegedly drove his vehicle into the house’s front porch, nearly striking two individuals. He then struck a parked car while attempting to flee.
Smith was charged with Reckless Endangerment and two counts of Criminal Mischief. He was taken to Wayne County Jail for arraignment.
