A Wayne County man is awaiting arraignment in the county jail after police say he used a wood-cutting axe to damage a car during a late Tuesday night domestic incident.
It’s alleged that Keith Downey of Sodus used the axe on the car while a person was sitting in the driver’s seat. The 38-year-old Downey was charged with criminal mischief, reckless endangerment, criminal possession of a weapon, and menacing.
Downey is to appear in the Town of Sodus Court at a later date and time for further court proceedings.
