A Canandaigua man has been arrested after allegedly stealing nearly $3,500 worth of merchandise from a Victor business.
According to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, on Saturday at around 11:30a, Travis Welch selected $3,360.90 of merchandise from the Dick’s Sporting Goods store at the Eastview Mall and passed all points of sale without attempting to pay.
Welch was charged with one count of Grand Larceny, a felony, and taken to jail to await arraignment.
He will appear at a later date in Victor Town Court to answer the charge against him.
