A state grant is helping veterans in one Finger Lakes county become eligible for additional services.
Seneca County Board of Supervisors Chairman Mike Enslow says the grant from the State Office of Mental Health will be used to contract with Veterans One-Stop Center of Western New York in Buffalo.
“It will boost services and outreach to veterans,” said Enslow. “It also helps target programs that will be more helpful in the community. It’s awesome to see us do as much as we can for our veterans.”
The grant received by the county is for $100,000 a year.
