Seneca County is going green.
Green lights will shine on county buildings. County Manager Kyle Lovell, an Air Force veteran, says ahead of the Veterans Day holiday, the county is participating in Operation Green Light, illuminating county buildings in green to show support for returning veterans.
The initiative, led by the New York State Association of Counties in collaboration with the National Association of Counties, raises awareness about the unique challenges faced by many veterans and the resources available at the county, state, and federal levels to assist them.
