A Rochester man will spend ten-and-a-half years in prison for a stabbing in Seneca Falls that happened in December of 2023.
The attack perpetrated by Jocolby Wallace left a woman seriously injured in her Fall Street home, though she has since recovered. At the time, police officers credited the quick action of paramedics and the staff at Strong Memorial Hospital for helping the victim survive.
Wallace was arrested on New Year’s Eve 2023 on a sealed indictment charging him with burglary, attempted murder, and assault. Initially set for trial in April, the 36-year-old accepted a plea deal on Monday after authorities discovered he tried to bribe the victim.
Sentencing is set for May 28th.
