Rescued German Shepherd Mix Puppy “Dawg” Ready for Adoption

SHARE NOW

Some good news to pass along with an update on the nine-month-old German Shepherd mix puppy that was seized during a police arrest on May 20th in Seneca Falls.

Police say thanks to the dedicated attention and care provided by the staff at Beverly Animal Shelter, “Dawg” is now in good health and available for adoption. Those interested in adopting “Dawg” can contact the animal shelter directly at (315) 539-9357.

The pup’s previous owner, 20-year-old Samantha Briggs of Seneca Falls, was arrested on animal cruelty charges after the puppy was found to be extremely underweight and in need of immediate medical attention.

In a statement, the Seneca Falls Police Department extended its “heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Beverly Animal Shelter for their exceptional care and compassion in this matter. Their commitment to Dawg’s well-being has been instrumental in his recovery.”
