A Wayne County woman was reportedly found to have a stolen car Friday night.
The investigation into a suspicious condition resulted in police finding Rebecca Mayo to allegedly be in possession of a car that was reported stolen on January 29th. The 41-year-old Newark woman was charged with criminal possession of stolen property and will appear in Clyde Village Court at a later date.
Mayo was turned over to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office after discovering she had multiple warrants for her arrest.
