SHARE NOW

A local man is facing felony weapons possession charges after police say he drove to another person’s home, got out of his car with a loaded shotgun, and threatened to shoot the victim before fleeing.

Joshua Larsen was located by Seneca Falls Police at another home and taken into custody. While the 34-year-old Seneca Falls man was being processed at the police department, he picked up more charges when allegedly created a disturbance by becoming agitated and irate.

Larsen was charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the 2nd degree, a C felony, criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, a D felony, menacing in the second degree, an A misdemeanor, three counts of endangering the welfare of a child, an A misdemeanor, and harassment in the first degree, a B misdemeanor. For his alleged actions at the police department, Larsen was charged with harassment and obstruction of governmental administration, both misdemeanors.

Larsen was being held at the county jail for arraignment.

An Order of Protection was requested by the victim.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
