Police have arrested a Seneca Falls man after he allegedly choked another person’s dog during a domestic incident.
Conor Downer is also accused of damaging property that belonged to the victim.
The 20-year-old was charged with felony criminal mischief, along with misdemeanor counts of criminal mischief, overdriving, torturing, and injuring animals and failure to provide proper sustenance.
Downer was processed and transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await arraignment. An order of protection was requested for the victim.
There was no word on if the dog suffered any injuries as a result of the alleged action.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
