Authorities in Wayne County are investigating an apparent armed robbery that occurred at The Station convenience store in Walworth.
The incident took place shortly after 9 Monday night when a suspect, described as a white man dressed in black, approached the counter and demanded money from the clerk, implying he was armed by keeping one hand in his pocket. The man fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The immediate area was searched, including a K9 track, but the suspect was not located.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
