A Rochester man is accused of stealing over $17,000 from his former employer in Ontario County.
Michael D’Amico’s arrest by the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office this week followed a five-month investigation that showed he stole the money between January of 2023 and last November through what police described as an “ongoing course of conduct.” In addition to a Felony Grand Larceny charge, the 30-year-old faces 14 counts of Falsifying Business Records.
Following arraignment at CAP Court, D’Amico was released to appear in Victor Town Court on a later date.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
