A car crashed into a home in Lyons over the weekend.
The driver of the car, 27-year-old Adriaan Sergeant, of Lyons, was driving south on Canal Street shortly after two Saturday morning when he went off the road and crashed into the front porch of a home on Jackson Street.
Sergeant was charged with DWI after he voluntarily submitted to a chemical test which determined his Blood Alcohol Content to be .13%.
The extent of damage to the home was not immediately known and police did not indicate if anyone was injured.
