The former Rochester Police Officer accused of raping a 13-year-old girl in Ontario County met his alleged victim through an acquaintance of the family.
The Ontario County District Attorney’s Office tells 13 WHAM Shawn Jordan has been released from jail without bail while his case is pending. Jordan was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly raping the teenager in South Bristol sometime between April and June of last year.
Jordan resigned from the RPD just weeks after being suspended in March when he was arrested for allegedly exposing himself to a 16-year-old during a video chat on Facebook messenger.
Jordan is awaiting trail for the alleged March incident.
